As you may have heard, we're expanding our vision for how we help teams collaborate. Rather than developing specialized tools with highly collaborative features, we're shifting to provide a highly collaborative environment where you can bring all of your favorite tools.
As such, we've decided not to proceed with further development of our beta product: Studio. It was sunset on January 18, 2023.
- As a reminder, Studio was our screen design tool. It was a free application you could use with our InVision Cloud products. With our expanded vision, we felt it was time to officially close the beta. Our Cloud product is still available and works great with popular design tools like Figma and Sketch+Craft.
- What does sunset mean? As of Jan 18, 2023 we started deprecation of Studio. Our Support team will not be able to assist with any issues related to Studio, you will not be able to publish any projects from Studio to your InVision account, and all existing, published Studio prototypes will be deleted from your InVision account during the deprecation process. After the sunset date, downloaded copies of the Studio app will no longer work.
- It's not possible to download Studio prototypes from InVision. However, up until the sunset date, you could export layers or entire artboards from the Studio desktop app. To learn more, check out this article: How do I export images directly from Studio?
Thank you for joining us on this journey and we hope to see you over in Freehand!
Your InVision Studio Team
