    Hi Mohamed,

Thank for reaching out here in the community! Just so we can make sure that we're on the same page here, can you please provide a few more details about this issue?

    1. What model device (e.g. iPhone X etc.) are you using?

    2. What version of mobile OS (e.g. iOS 12.3 etc.) are you on?

    3. Are you viewing the prototype via the native InVision Viewer app for iOS? If so, what version of the app are you using? You can find this in Settings > InVisionApp.

    4. Could you provide a screen recording or a screenshot showing exactly what you're seeing on your end? We would like to better understand how the prototype is displayed for you, what icon you are referring to and where do you expect to see that icon.

    Look forward to hearing back!

    Monika

Thanks for following up with that information, Mohamed! Can you please clarify a couple more things for us?:

    1. Can you please provide your mobile Safari details which can be founds at https://www.whatsmybrowser.org/?
    2. Is this happening with all prototypes or the one pictured above in particular?
    3. Have you attempted to use the InVision iOS app? If so, are you encountering the same issues?
    4. Is this a Studio or non-Studio prototype?

Look forward to hearing from you again,

    Shaina

    1. My Safari 13 on iOS 13.3.
    2. All prototypes not working as a mobile app like before.
    3. InVision iOS app working fine, But i wanna send link to client without installing any application to view design as a mobile app with home screen icon.
    4. Non-Studio prototype.

Thanks for clarifying that, Mohamed! In this case, have you tried adding your prototype to Home Screen? This should allow you to view the project in full screen without needing to download our app. Please check out this article for instructions on how to add a prototype to your Home Screen.

Hope this helps! Please let us know if the above solution doesn't work for you or if you run into any further issues.

    Cheers,

    Monika

    Hi Mohamed,

Glad to hear that Monika's suggestion is working fine for you.

When you share the link with your client, it will open in Safari by default. To clarify, are you looking to save your client from having to take the extra step of adding to home screen? If so, we're currently tracking a feature request that would help solve this for you.

Please let me know if this is what you're trying to achieve and if so, I will open a ticket on your behalf to track your need for this potential feature.

    Look forward to hearing back,

    Shaina

    Hi Mohamed,

No problem! I'll add your interest to a feature request that would allow users to hide the top URL bar and bottom navigation bar when viewing prototype share links in mobile browsers. Keep an eye out for an email confirmation shortly.

Have a lovely day and please let me know if there's anything else I can help you out with.

    Best,

    Monika

Hi there, having the same issue. Wanted to see if this feature had been added yet. Thanks.

    Hi Adrian,

Unfortunately at this time, there is no way to have a Prototype scale when viewing on your mobile browser, and it appears this way due to the top URL bar, and the bottom navigation bar.

Our Product team is tracking interest in the ability to hide these so that your Prototype would appear scaled as expected. I will be sure to pass along your vote for this functionality!

Have you tried viewing your prototype in our iOS app, that may work well!

    Cheers,

    Camille
