InVision Freehand is such a great tool and has become so important to a lot of designers, especially because of its collaboration feature. This feature matters so much more now as a lot of us are now working from home. 

The collaboration feature isn’t the only cool thing about Freehand. The alignment feature is a great tool to help you scale your creative process.

Here is a quick tip.

Align/tidy up your design. This is important when coming up with visuals. Previously, it was quite tedious to tidy up designs because you had to do it manually and could feel like forever if you have lots of designs to go through.

But here’s an example of how this feature could help.

Take a  look at a design in freehand before the Aligning feature was used.

See, this looks a little messy.

One way to tidy up your design, select elements you would like to align/tidy up

Step 2: Click on the ‘Arrange to grip’ button on the right-hand side that appears once items are selected to tidy up

This alignment feature works for any and everything. Try this alignment tip in your next creativity session. You can get you work done faster

Freehand is a perfect tool not just for designers but for anyone interested in boosting creativity.

  Nice post.

  Absolutely love Freehand! Such a useful tool. 

  My favourite freehand tip is to use the useful Freehand templates. The ones I constantly use are Brainstorming and  Sprint planning and let me tell you, there is a lot more.

  • If you're able to share here, could you please send through some screenshots or a screen recording showing this issue occurring?
    
  • Does this issue continue in a private/incognito window, or a different browser?
    
  • Could you please confirm your browser and OS details by going to www.whatsmybrowser.org, clicking the “Copy” button, and pasting the link it gives you into your reply?
