This feature started rolling out earlier this week. You should see it soon!

    Hi Jacob,

Thanks for sending through your feedback today! We really appreciate it.

While not currently available, the ability to layer elements in Freehand and then set their position is a potential feature that our Product team are tracking the interest for. They'll take this into account when planning for future updates to Freehand and InVision, and to that end, I've added your vote to this feature request.

If you ever have any other queries or suggestions, please don't hesitate to send them through. We're always here to help.

    Regards,

    Camille

NOTE: If anybody else would like to add their feedback about this potential feature, please “ADD YOUR VOTE” using the button on the original post.

Just seconding this - makes it a little hard to do some of the user research sessions like dot-sorting

You can use cut-then-paste on an object (control-x control-v) as a shortcut for 'move to front', though I can't work out a way to do move to back.

I took a screenshot of each layer and then added each image to the board in the order I wanted them to be layered. Really looking forward to getting this feature.

"Send items to front/back" I totally agree! That should be a mandatory feature! Thank you!
